32 Teams. 2 Players per Team.
Single Elimination. 30 minute max.

Single Elimination
First Team to score 21 advances
Teammates stand at opposite boards.
Each team will have 4 bags of one color.
All 8 bags begin at one end.
First round of the tournament, the team with the shortest player
will be the team that throws first. All following rounds, the
team with the highest score differential throughout the tournament
will throw first.
A player may throw from anywhere behind the front of the board. If
any part of the foot crosses the line, it will be a foul and the
throw will be voided.
In order for a throw to count, the player has to be holding a St.
Paul Summer Beer Festival glass in the opposite hand.
Players must continue throwing bags from the side they started
on.
Alternating throws between the two opponents on the same side,
until all 8 bags have been thrown.
If a bag hits the ground then bounces up onto the board, the bag
will be removed and will not count.
All games will be played to 21, exactly. If a team reaches a point
total over 21 at the end of any round they will automatically start
the next round at 15, and have a chance to work back to 21.
Each game will have an 30 minute time limit. The team with
highest total will win. If there is a tie, each team may
select one participant to throw in a sudden death challenge.
The rounds will continue until there is a winner.

Fouls

- If a player goes out of turn, the turn will be voided and the

- If a player throws a bag while not holding a St. Paul Summer
Beer Festival glass, the turn will be voided and the bag will be
removed from the board.
Scoring
- 3 points for a bag that goes through the hole.
- 1 point for a bag that is on the playing surface.
- 1 point for a bag that is hanging into the hole.
- 1 point for a bag that is hanging off the edge.*
- 0 points for a bag that lands off the board, or falls off
during a judges inspection.*
- At the end of each round, the team with the higher score will
add the difference in both team's scores to their game total.
- All games will be played to 21, exactly. If a team reaches a
point total over 21 at the end of any round they will automatically
start the next round at 15, and have a chance to work back to
21.
*If a bag is hanging off the front edge but stays on while
the front of the board is lifted by a judge, the point
will count. If it falls off while the judge lifts the board, then
the point will be voided.
